Wednesday

October 1, 20259:39 pm It is Wednesday. I had plans but I had to cancel it. I spent most of last night and this morning journaling. I tried the journaling everyday thing but it did not really work out for me. So I decided to do it every few weeks or so. And I keep 2 smaller and basic journals to just keep track of how my day went. Plus, this blog. So my days are pretty well-chronicled. Just not too organized. Heh. Then, I had to take meds and sleep because I was not feeling too well. Allergies got me again. Zzz... It is supposed to be World Coffee Day and the start of the Davao Coffee Crawl. I was planning to getting my DCC Journal and visit two cafes. But, alas. This oldie needed to rest. Work has been steady. But I was not too productive today. See you tomorrow.

Kalilangan Festival in General Santos City Day 1

It wasn't actually Day 1 of the Kalilangan Festival in General Santos City. But it was our first day here. Kalilangan is General Santos City's annual foundation day headed by the General Santos City Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This year's celebration is directed by the Orman Manansala and celebrated with the theme, "Honoring the Past, Celebrating the Present, Embracing the Future." Orman and his brother, Avel Manansala, with the support of Mayor Jun Acharon, invited Davao Bloggers to join in their festivities. So yesterday, at 7 am, me, Lyle Santos, Chattee Lara, Brendel Balaga, and Angel Abella boarded a van and, with so much chatter and excitement, headed to General Santos City. Upon arrival, we immediately settled in our rooms at the Family Country Hotel. Shameful but I took up most of the closet space. :P After resting, we ate lunch at Giacomino's Pizza at Robinson's Place. I had their lasagna and their chicken wings combo meal which was more than enough for me. Then, we prepared for our judging duties and a night out. Brendel and Angel had their hair and make up done at Envy Me Salon at Robinson's Mall while Chattee and I prettified ourselves with…

SUCCESFUL!

I AM SO TIREEED! I slept at around 4 am after worrying about some details for today's wedding. I woke up at 10 am, took a bath, prepared my arsenal, and swiftly left for Mommy's house. Upon arriving, we went to Bliss Salon where I had first dibs at the hair and make up chair. Mommy had to buy a bible first. LOL! My make-up was... dark. It was definitely something new for me. Then, I had my hair ironed but it didn't end up flat. After a while, my other cousins, Mommy, my other cousins, and a niece arrived. After my hair and make up were done, I went to Blu Gre to eat something. Then, I had my nails done. After we all had our new looks... me the gimikera, Marianne and Cha-cha the kontrabidas, and Mae-mae and Paigey the princesses... we went back to Mommy's house to dress up. Did I already say I love my dress? I DO! I love, love, looove my dress by Jon of Limited. When we arrived at the church, we took care of the processional, I read the first reading, took care of the offertory assignments, and took some photos. I…
