Addicted to Frozen Yoghurt

Intense Chocolate During my last trip to Manila, my cousins and I went to Amara in Serendra at The Fort twice. Both times, my cousins were craving for frozen yoghurt. Amara's Intense Chocolate did not disappoint at all. It was like frozen native chocolate. We also got to try Mango and Chocolate. Chocolate was kinda blah and boring compared to the Intense Chocolate. Mango was a good alternative if you do not feel like having chocolate. Mango and Chocolate I am not addicted to frozen yoghurt. But my cousin, Tinky is. She kept on bugging us to find more yoghurt places. But since we'd always go out late, we always ended up at Amara. And she was happy with that. Tinky thinks Amara sources its frozen yoghurt from a supplier also sells at the Salcedo Market. Tinky enjoying her Intense Dark Frozen Yoghurt If you know of other good frozen yoghurt places or stores in Metro Manila, do comment here for her. (I'm blogging on her behalf right now, but do watch out for her own blog soon.) Kuya Andrew, Tinky, her boyfriend Allan, and me

My Blog Stats Don't Lie

So it probably won't be the best day of my life ever for a long time. But for now... at this moment... April 28, 2008, was quite awesome. Fakest Birthday Smile Ever! Kuya Andrew's camera went crazy and the photo of my fake birthday smile at Cafe Breton in Podium is now somewhere in oblivion land, but that "surprise" was a crazy one. I cried real tears of anger and sadness. Kawawa naman yung wait staff ng Cafe Breton, nadamay sa bad mood ko. Thanks anyway to the attempt by Kuya, Migs, and Winston to make up for their kakulitan. Lesson: Great food can't cure pain, hurt, sadness, and loneliness, even if it's for free. Manila Ocean Park Had fantastic time with Ate Aileen, Kuya Jay, Miguel Apolo, Kuya Andrew, Migs, Blogie, and Winston at the Manila Ocean Park. They even gave me flowers. Nice! :) Lesson: Keeping in touch with nature is therapeutic. Grand Birthday Bash at Serendra and Bonifacio High Street for Bloggers sponsored by Spot NAKS! I'm like so big time! Kidding! Had a fun but stressful time at this food tour because there was just so much to be taken in a little span of time.…

Manila Day 1

I went GROSSLY overbudget... HUHU! Our flight PR 810 arrived slightly late. And there was this godawful kid on our flight who was crying most of the time. We picked up Winston and Blogie from the Cebu Pacific terminal. We then dropped off our things at Kuya Andrew's house, then went directly to Razon's for some lunch. Kuya and I shared on Pancit Palabok and Sizzling Bulalo. It was alright, I guess. I also had a sylvana. Then, we went back to the house to get some rest. At 7 pm, we were at Serendra at the Fort. VERY! VERY! VERY IMPRESSIVE! I fell in love with Fully Booked. Good thing I had self-control so I didn't buy anything. Kuya, Blogie and I then ate at Brazil! I am sooo regretting that decision. The beef, especially, the beef shank was sooo sinful. :( But I enjoyed it. Until my cousin, Tinky arrived and told us she was going to eat somewhere else since she wasn't in the mood for buffet. That's when madness ensued. We accompanied her to New Orleans where she had clam chowder and clammy pasta. I drank some tea, couple with the Mississipi Mud Cake which has…
