Another month is here. Started the month with work at Three Yards. And dinner at Recuerdo again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tpQWCqUe10 Work at Three Yards First, a quick video guide on how to get to Three Yards if you are somewhere in Tulip Drive (Carlos Villa-Abrille Drive). Three Yards is located in Casiana Villa-Abrille Street, Juna Subdivision, Matina. It is at the back of EcoMed and on the same street as LTO. Fun fact: Carlos and Casiana were a married couple. Anyway, the Main Hall of Three Yards is located just a few steps from EcoMed Parking Area. It is covered by the bamboo and mango trees in the area but it is there. And just a few steps away is &Matcha. Back in March, both were not yet open to the public. Also back then, I was not really into matcha yet so I got coffee. I had Espresso Oatmilk Latte+. To know more about Three Yards, visit the Three Yards Website. Recuerdo Again We had dinner at Recuerdo again. It was either Fabian's or Recuerdo. And this time, we chose Recuerdo again. We order Kalderetang Baka and Lechon Kawali. And they gave us Kare-Kare and Leche Flan to try. Everything was…

Ex Ex Lovers and Cafe Hopping Again [February 13 2025 Davao Video Diary]
Started the day with a solo movie date: Ex Ex Lovers. Then, dropped by a pop up market in the mall and then 2 cafes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7RBpO010Lc Ex Ex Lovers I have not watched a movie in the cinema in a while. Not since I watched a few MMFF 2024 films. But I really wanted to watch Ex Ex Lovers in the cinema because I want romcoms to come back to cinemas. I cried during the movie and I loved it. It was not perfect but nostalgia hit me perfectly. And the story was something I kinda related to. Even if I do not have a child nor an ex husband. Since I was already in the mall, I dropped by Annipie for a snack. Then, the Valentine's Pop Up Market at the Activity Center. I was hoping to have a Joolz charm bracelet made but they were super busy. So I settled from some pastries from AB Bakery and MG Desserts. I give the AB Bakery Bombolinis a 10/10. Very good for a doughnut. More: Movies Club's Bakery II (North) Next, we dropped by Club's Bakery. I had a Mini Strawberry Croissant and an Einspanner. I love both. The Mini…
Pop Up and Cafe Hopping Again [February 8 2025 Davao Video Diary]
We went cafe hopping again. But first, we dropped by a pop up market, Louis Mireille and Friends at Fika Cafe. https://youtu.be/oQs9GXMZIk8 Pop Up Market Pre-pandemic I had avoided going to big bazaars. It was just way too chaotic and overwhelming for me. And it was usually just more of the same stuff. But I found it interesting that there are a lot of pop up and flea markets around the city and they seem to be thriving. What really piqued my interest is the number of local businesses, mostly women-driven that have thrived in recent years. Paramount Coffee Finally, I got to try Paramount Coffee. I wanted to try their Drip Coffee but it was not available. Instead, I got their Creamy Truffle Pasta and the Spanish Latte. I loooved the Creamy Truffle Pasta and I listed it on our February 2025 Favorites. More info: Davao Cafes Three Yards and Errands Next, we visited Three Yards for work. To know more about Three Yards, visit the Three Yards Website. And we did a Moltress Dynamax Raid on Pokemon Go. Then, we dropped by the mall for some errands at Watsons. And I bought some stuff from Uniqlo. LUXE ORGANIX…
Late Again
October 6, 202510:06 pm I did not forget. I was just really too tired from the weekend's activities. So yeah, I am late again in posting this. But worry not, wala namang nagbabasa. LOL! Anyhow, the weekend was packed. Like as in. (OA!) So this post is going to be 300 words long. I hope. I went to Patron of the Arts (POTA) on Saturday morning. Slept early. Woke up extra early and managed to drop by POTA Davao Fall 2025. Saw a lot of friends from past flea markets and art markets. Saw new artists I am now following. And made new connections. BONUS: I managed to finish the Stamp Rally and got prizes. I chose an Art Card and a Tote Bag. Thinking of leveling up and hyping our own stamp rallies soon, as well. While I was rushing most of the time, I am glad I took the time to support our local artists, crafters, and entrepreneurs. Next, Ngilngig Retrograde. This is one of the side events of the Ngilngig Filmfest. Three Yards is hosting the screening of past Ngilngig films, along with an outdoor market. Bought merch and food from the vendors. Of course. More about…

Drifting in the Wind
I did not grow up with a dream or any sort of aspiration. I do not know if this is because of my short attention span that nothing really held my interest for long. Or maybe because I was always on survival mode. I would like to believe it was because I was not meant for anything that existed. Who would have thought that 5 year old Ria who excitedly entered kindergarten some 38 years ago would end up typing away her thoughts on a Tuesday morning? And consider it as "work." Back when I decided to blog it was nothing more than an outlet for my thoughts and feeling to be read and shared. It started as a newsletter of sorts. I asked my friends and classmates if they wanted to read my rants and essays from Philo and Theo classes. Yes, I was that kapal. A few handful gave me their email addresses so I could send them stuff now and then. Occassionally, I would drop a line or paragraph discussing politics and current events. And my cousin encouraged me to start a political blog. And the rest... is history. Kinda. Now, here I am some 20+ years…
