My team... Team Ria Jose is now the official representative of Sequel Duterte to the Davao Cyber Expo DoTA Tournament from June 22 - 24, 2007. ;) I'm so, so, so.... HAPPY! Starcraft 2 is almost ready!!!! RAWR!

I woke up at 10:30 am and wasn't able to go back to sleep. Why? Coz I'm excited. I'm treating my cousins and my friends to DoTA this evening. It's from 8 pm to sawa.... RAWR!!!

About a month ago, I watched a 3 vs 3 mirrormatch game with Barathrum, Alchemist and Drow Ranger as the heroes... and I thoroughly enjoyed it. As in!!! Then, about a week ago, I saw another 3 vs 3 mirrormatch game with Krobelus, Lich King and Barathrum (again). It was so surprising to watch how a relatively better team lost against a supposedly inferior team. The "inferior" team won through a clever strategy which even entailed sort of copying part of the other team's strategy. Haha!!! Moreover, the inferior team had a very, very, very superior Lich King who bullied the other Lich King. Also the "inferior" team players seemed to know the perfect time to Charge, Silence and Chain Frost the other team. Thus... the supposedly inferior team won. Last Friday, my cousins -- Andrew and Gwing -- and I played against each other with our other DoTA friends -- Jan Jan, Dodong, Abdul, Dino, and Seth -- played a 4 vs 4 mirrormatch game. It was I, Dino, Seth, Dodong on one team, the rest on the other team. All I could remember was I and Jan Jan were Pugna, Gwing was Omniknight, and Andrew was Gondar. Early…

Ok, so I am a DoTA Addict. In Sequel Juan Luna branch (where I almost live), one of the fun parts of playing is the trashtalking. It's fun especially if the S Boys (as we call the tambays there) play against each other because the trashtalking gets really funny. Here's some trashtalking stuff I picked up (and some I "invented") while playing: 1) BOGO (bisayan for bobo / stupid) 2) Killed by a girl? - MWAHAHA! 3) Lost to a girl? 4) Quitters bayot (Quitters are gay!) 5) Roshan ka? (Are you Roshan?) or Pa-Roshan-Roshan (Acting like Roshan) - for stupid people who go into combat against much stronger heroes 6) First time mo? (Is is your first time?) - for players who seem to not know how to use their hero (eg Pudge who doesn't know how to hook) 7) Creeps ka? (Are your part of the creeps?) or Kabarkada ka ng creeps (Your a friend of the creeps) - for players who are weak or don't contribute much to their team 8 ) LOUSY! 9) WEAK! 10) Kilalanin niyo kinakalaban/hinahamon niyo.
