And a few more days for me to recover from Kaiju Con. Ang OA. How are you guys? Nobody asked but I am doing well. Still me. Still slaying. SKL. Made a few unsavory (read: Dee Dee Es) accounts deactivate on some platforms. Heh. More about that some other time. Meanwhile, I am restarting the 100 words of non-fiction a day thing. Still no name. Kaiju Con Day 1
September 19, 202511:35 pm Just got home and ate my super late dinner (?) Wiw! Kaiju Con Day 1 was fun. The crowd was not too big but most of the people who came seemed to enjoy the experience. It was fulfilling to see people engage with the artists, crafters, and merchants. Loved a lot of the stuff on display. Unfortunately, my budget is limited. LOL! Thanks to Kuya I got a new desk mat from Scarcetti. YEY! Will use it in a bit. I got lotsss of new stickers. Plus, new trinkets, and other stuffsss. Enjoyed every gacha and blind bag I got. Need a bigger budget for the next event. Wiw. HAHA! And every food I tried was superb. We did a good job. Hoping for good weather, a more enthusiastic crowd, and bigger sales for all merchants. Happy Ingress Day
September 18, 202510:44 pm Do not be fooled by the post title. It was not a hassle-free day but it was definitely a happy ingress day. I was on time and setup was quick. I was a bit indecisive about some details but I think everything worked out well. A few vendors came to set up but it's ok. Tomorrow will be a bit chaotic and rushed but let's not worry about that yet. Acrylics arrived. Standees are ready. Stickers are gorgeous. Stamp rally is exciting. YEY! The layout is very spacious and not too cramped. Few food vendors but I think each one is good so it should be ok. The downside? SUPER INIT. And I lacked sleep. Ordered Gang Gang Chicken for my lunch which was willing and surprisingly spicier than I expected. But I really love the crunch of their breading. Dinner was so, so, sooo good at Dulce Desserts. Kuya had the Beef Short Ribs with Kimchi Rice. I ordered the Fish and Chips. The fish was juicy and cooked properly. Breading was separating from the fish but it's ok. The fries were crisp and tasty. Hyped for the Weekend
September 17, 20256:20 pm It has been under a minute. Literally. I am hyped for the weekend. We are almost ready for Kaiju Con. Express is not working. Argh. But other than that, we are ready. Almost everything is printed and published. Vendors are complete. We have art, knick knacks, handicrafts, and collectibles. Plus, shirts and tote bags. Mouse pads and mats, too. Clickers. Blind boxes. We have food and matcha. And coffee, too. Workshops, as well. Both are last minute additions but different from the usual. And on theme. And a huge Kaiju Standee. And small cute ones. I am excited. Hyped. Excited. Always happy to organize and host unusual events that I, myself, will enjoy going to. See you this weekend. But first, Ingress tomorrow.
Late Again
September 17, 20256:15 pm I am late again. But not really. I kinda forgot to publish something here yesterday. BUT. I did publish something on Diyosa Life. Read here: Maya Personal Goals So yes, I am late again here. But I did not miss out on publishing something yesterday. I am still undecided on the title of this challenge and the mechanics but stay with me. The important thing is I publish one non-fiction post everyday, at least 100 words each time. I have not really missed yet if I count my other blogs. But every time I realize I have not published here, I get a nagging feeling I should. LOL! Anyway, that's it for now. Third Post
September 15, 20256:38 pm Not to overcompensate but this is my third post today. Earlier, I published a late submission for yesterday. And I also published a post of My Davao City about the event I attended last Saturday. I think I am going to do more of those posts again. Wish me luck. Still mulling what to do with my pending Fiction projects. More importantly, we are almost ready for Kaiju Con this weekend. Really, really, overly excited for it. Almost all details are final now.
