The following is my entry to the TaleCraft Fantasy Valentine Contest. Bella's Big Day Bella was trudging along the alley. She was contemplating on what she was going to wear to work the next day. The Big Boss from Manila was arriving and they all had to make a good impression. Otherwise, Big Boss would maybe think of closing down their office. Bella was a receptionist. When Bella arrived home, she was too tired to eat, so she watched some television shows, drank a glass of milk, and slept. She received a call but didn't answer it. It was Troy, the geeky IT guy in the office. He was obviously madly in love with her. At least once a day, when she would take her break, Troy would put something on her desk. Sometimes it would be a flower, other times, something to snack on. But he never approached Bella. He would send her SMS, call her on the phone, but he never talked to her. Initially, Bella thought he was kinda cute, and endearing. But he started getting pesky and annoying. Bella slept with thoughts of how annoying Troy is. The next day, Bella woke up very early. She…

My Canon Ixus 70
That is me trying to pretend I'm overly happy. Kuya Andrew and I had just came from GMall to buy me my first-ever digital camera... a Canon Ixus 70 that I'd been eying for quite a while. YEY! The photo was taken at Salutti where we ate heavy snacks. I was pretending to be on a diet so I ordered the Kani Salad with Japanese Dressing... The wasabi in the dressing gave me a headache. It was good, very delicious in fact, but I was overwhelmed. And the serving was too big for just one person. We tried out the different shooting modes of the camera while waiting for our food... Then Kuya Andrew came up with the evil idea of buying Haagen Dazs ice cream for dessert. I had the Coffee Almond Crunch Ice Cream bar. YUMMY! Then we went back to the office and tried out the camera again, this time with our sosy secretary, Lani... Yun lang po... :D

Challenge: Be Creative!
I must admit... judging a story-creation contest was daunting. The participants were wayyy younger than me, but I was intimidated. They had more guts, and creative juices than I do. LOL! So as a challenge to myself, and to whoever is interested... I am joining the TaleCraft Fantasy Valentine Contest. YEY! Booo.... I am sooo not going to win! TaleCraft is a card game invented by Davaoeña Ria Lu. It is composed of 68 playing cards. There are 3 kinds of cards: genre, character, keyword. Some keyword cards may contain a plotline. Each player will pick one genre card, two character cards, and 6 keyword/plotline cards, and within five minutes, craft and tell a story weaving the nine cards together. Cool huh? Also very scary! Anyway... I am joining the contest. I MIGHT post my entry, or not... It really depends on how content I am with myself. Right now, I really don't know how or where to start.
