The 2007 Philippine Blog Awards Night is tomorrow night. And I'm sad that I cannot be there. It would have been a pleasure to meet all those bloggers who will be attending. Some people nominated by four blogs: Alleba POLITICS, Chikadora, Shop Chicks and My Davao City. Unfortunately, none of the four made it as a finalist. Well, better luck next time, I guess. For the meantime, I am fervently hoping that my cousin wins the Special Award for Best Plug-in/Extension for either his Guestbook Generator or his Name Dropper. I hope he wins because he deserves it. And more importantly, I want him to have a mini-heart attack because he dreads having to go on stage and speak. He really has nobody to thank but himself coz he's a one-man blogging machine. But the idea of thanking himself still scares the shit out of him. MWAHAHA!
New Laptop -> More Blogging
So... I think I'll be blogging more often now. (As if I don't blog enough already.) Mommy, my dad's sister who took care of me since I was born til I was about 9 years, bought me a laptop. She gave it to me as a graduation gift/bribe. (More on that in a later post.) So here I am at a cafe here in good old Davao City, enjoying ice blended coffee while abusing the free WiFi. I'm still trying to organize things in my laptop. For now, it has a very, very, very crappy MS Starter Edition OS. And I can't really blog til I drop since there's no WiFi in my boarding house and I haven't inquired if I can have an internet connection in my room. Anyhow... I'm very much excited that I have, for the very first time, my very own computer. Haha!!!
Here's the real reason
It's not that you abandoneed me. Yes, you did. No reason, no rhetoric can change or hide that fact. It's that you came back, that's why I left.

Bamboo
Charisma. That's what came to mind when I watched Bamboo perform live. His voice isn't really earth-shaking, most of his songs sound the same... and I don't even get the lyrics because he seems to mumble all the time. I am a bigger fan of his former band, and I have never adored his current band. But for that moment, when I was watching them, I was defnitely a fan. Bamboo himself was so charismatic. He knew how to liven up the crowd and how to make them swoon and adore him more. He moved, sang and performed as if he was doing it for each person in the audience. He was passionate. And it was evident. If he decides to start a cult, I wouldn't be shocked if a lot of people would believe him. I think, he is that good in selling himself, albeit subtly. So will I listen to his music more and watch him again? Only if it's for free ulit. :P
