A few weeks back, we celebrated the birthday of my maternal grandaunt, Tia Alot’s 80th birthday. It was a grand celebration held at the Marco Polo Hotel. All of us girls were FORCED to wear dresses while most of the guys wore their best “smart casual” attires.
A few days ago, a local daily had a full page feature in the event. And there was a picture of our family, the Abella Family, to accompany the article.
