The Rejz Ria Forever Fans Club

Had a meeting with my team yesterday lunch and chismoso concerned boys that they are they pried why I had puffy and dark eyebags and extra chinita eyes. So they were one of the first ones to know what happened. Last night, the team had a game and wonder of wonders... the ex was online and wanted to be a game observer. My team, again being "concerned" and all, chatted with him and teased him mercilessly. We now even have a "Rejz Ria Forever Fans Club" (RRFFC) founded by SubangKyut and Sarte. LOL! The ex was really a good sport. We actually have a better relationship now, very friendly. Weird! And we're actually ok. Not in a showbiz "we are civil towards each other" way. It's like he's now one of my best friends. ;) I guess we'll never be the same, and we can never have the same relationship. We did come out of it hurt but not bitter and angry. For somebody who has never had a break-up before... that's quite an achievement, I think. Because it all started with two cheesy songs... it had to end with more cheesy songs. This one's from him to me... I'm Gonna Be Around by Michael Learns to Rock No need for lyrics coz it's karaoke version y'all. Seriously though... it's so sad. We had a funny break-up. Not really funny in a laugh out loud way... just funny in an unexplainable way. Thanks for the memories! And they were great! ;)

Something I Just Have to Say

I once read that the thing we hate most about other people is a reflection of the thing that we hate most about ourselves. Say for example, we hate how other people are sarcastic. It says something about how we hate how we are also, in some ways, sarcastic. In more ways, than I would like to admit, I think there is a lot of truth to this. Some amount of introspection has made me become more patient and somehow accepting of other's faults, or for a more accurate term... my pet-peeves. Because somehow, these pet-peeves are the things I hate in myself. I hate people who are late, because I hate it when I'm late. I hate it when people disregard other people's feelings, because I hate it when I do or say things without thinking twice how it would affect other people. I hate it when people give their opinion without really backing up what they say, or when they say things just because it is convenient for them to say these things. Because I regret it when I open my mouth without really knowing the bigger picture, or without really being involved in the things I am…
