Fat Ria

I wasn't always the Diyosa that I am now. And I was inspired by Kuya Andrew to look for old embarrassing photos. We all need to laugh at ourselves sometimes. I usually cringe when I see these photos but what the hell... looking back is so much fun. Here are some photos from years ago... when I had a 38 waistline and scared of the weighing scale. MANAS LOOK FTW! So funny! And it's obvious I lacked the confidence and didn't have the Diyosa attitude I have now. :)

Hip-Hop Classes

I love dancing. I don't think I can ever say that enough. Anyhoo, I risked being humiliated and possible severe muscle pain when I joined my friends at the Project Kool-lab Hip-Hop Classes last Saturday at Metro Lifestyle Fitness Center. It is conducted by the Groove Unlimited Dance Community, headed by Bryan Grandeza. And well, it was not an utter epic failure. Or so I'd like to think. We had fun, yes? And it was very challenging. More importantly, we sweated (is that even a word?). A LOT! Before we proceed, let's play a game of spot the bloggers... We danced or attempted to dance to Janet Jackson's "Daybreak." That entire routine, as choreographed by Bryan, took a few minutes to perform, but it took us more than an hour and a lot of sweat and embarrassment to even just get a grasp of what we're supposed to do. FAIL! LOL! Most of us were cunning enough to stay away and position ourselves right at the back of the more skilled students. HAHA! I'll give you a clue though, I was one of the few wearing p*k-p*k shorts and the other bloggers are in the same group. We're kind of…

I Love Taylor Swift

Aside from the reason that Taylor Swift sang "You Belong With Me," I love her because of this... LOL! She is such a good sport. And she fell really hard... wearing those high stiletto boots thingers. That was totally something that Kuya Andrew would do. And he vowed he'd do that to me one day. :-& Belated Happy Halloween!!! :)

Nobody But You

Been around Koreans for quite some time. But I'm not a fan of their pop culture. Nothing against it, just really not a fan. Aside from Princess Hours, Fullhouse, and Kim Sam Soong, I was never really a fan of Koreanovelas or Korean stars unlike say... Brendel or Kring. But I do enjoy talking to Koreans and interacting with them coz they're soooo funny. And my adopted uncle Brian Choi always treats me to free drinks and food. AUTOMATIC! Some of my friends have been singing and dancing to this song "Nobody" but being clueless that I am, I don't know the song and haven't watched the video. But I saw the Kringy teach the dance steps to pre-school students and it got me curious. Last night, I asked my work colleagues what the song is. And they told me to ask Mr. Choi to forward me the song as it was his ring tone. LOL! And he did send it to me, and he also forced me to copy 2NE1's Fire as, according to him, it is a "better song by Sandara Park." And the good people in our technical crew even played the music video on TV so…
