One of the shows I already like is Criminal Minds, and I have been watching more of it on the local Fox Channel. I love most crime shows like CSI (all three) and Numbers, especially when it offers something different.
Criminal Minds is different in that it focuses on the criminal rather than the crime committed. The show centers on the Behavioral Analysis Unit of the FBI, led by Agent Hotch player by Thomas Gibson. The storylines delve into the psyche, behavior, and profile of the criminals and use the information to track down the criminal.
It also stars Joe Mantegna, Paget Brewster, and the yummy Shemar Moore. My favorite characters are uber nerd Dr Reid and the geek hacker Penelope Garcia.
The interactions among the different members of the unit is also very interesting. Makes them… human sometimes.
It’s an interesting show that keeps me company almost everyday. Good thing Criminal Minds will be back this September with their sixth season.
It’s unfortunate though that Agent Jennifer Jareau (played by AJ Cook) will only for a couple episodes on the upcoming Criminal Minds because of budget cuts. Even Paget Brewster’s scenes are also being shortened according to various sources which is very disappointing.
