Happy National Ria Jose Day!!!

Today is officially National Ria Jose Day!!! (WOOT) It's my 27th birthday and it's been a happy one so far. Even before 12 midnight, people already started greeting me via Plurk and Twitter. And at around 12, Gwing and Kuya Andrew both sent me birthday greetings via SMS. And the greetings and well wishes haven't stopped pouring in via Plurk, Twitter, Facebook, and SMS. :) Thank you to everybody who greeted me. The day started with a breakfast of corned beef (my favorite) and Pepper Jack Cheese in pan de sal sandwich. I then proceeded to go online and rest for a while. I just finished eating lunch. As a birthday treat Mommy let me eat half a scoop of ice cream even if I'm forbidden to eat it as I haven't fully recovered from my sore throat. :P Figaro's Tomato Con Al Tonno, Jose Raphael's Jasmine Tea, and Jose Raphael's Choco Chip Jaffle Kuya Andrew and I went out to have coffee. We ended up at Figaro where he ate pizza and I ate Tomato Con Al Tonno pasta. YUUUUM! Kuya gave me his pasalubong/birthday gift from Singapore. He also gave me gifts from Ate Aileen, and from Hana…

My Blog Stats Don't Lie

So it probably won't be the best day of my life ever for a long time. But for now... at this moment... April 28, 2008, was quite awesome. Fakest Birthday Smile Ever! Kuya Andrew's camera went crazy and the photo of my fake birthday smile at Cafe Breton in Podium is now somewhere in oblivion land, but that "surprise" was a crazy one. I cried real tears of anger and sadness. Kawawa naman yung wait staff ng Cafe Breton, nadamay sa bad mood ko. Thanks anyway to the attempt by Kuya, Migs, and Winston to make up for their kakulitan. Lesson: Great food can't cure pain, hurt, sadness, and loneliness, even if it's for free. Manila Ocean Park Had fantastic time with Ate Aileen, Kuya Jay, Miguel Apolo, Kuya Andrew, Migs, Blogie, and Winston at the Manila Ocean Park. They even gave me flowers. Nice! :) Lesson: Keeping in touch with nature is therapeutic. Grand Birthday Bash at Serendra and Bonifacio High Street for Bloggers sponsored by Spot NAKS! I'm like so big time! Kidding! Had a fun but stressful time at this food tour because there was just so much to be taken in a little span of time.…

Manila Day 3

I woke up at around 9:30 am, took a bath, ate breakfast, and prepared for a day of gallivanting around. At around 11 am, Kuya, Winston, and I met up with Juned. After a while, Ate Aileen also arrived. We went to Binondo. YEY! We ate at Estero where we had Yang Chow Fried Rice, Scallops with Mushrooms, Sweet and Sour Pork, and Oyster Cake. YUM YUM YUM! After lunch, we met up with Benj. We went on a search for Quickly. LOL! But failed miserably... we spent more time walking around more than anything else. Well, there were also lotsa camwhoring. After Binondo, they went to Intramuros while I hailed a cab to go to Taft. I visited Mineski Grounds. I was able to meet a lot of the DotA players I chat with or play with over G Arena. My ex was there and he was like... uhmmm.... hmmm.... ah, eh... he ignored me. LOL! I also met up with Davao player Yukz who is trying to move to Manila and needed professional and personal advice. Awww... bonding kami! The friendliest people there were Vini, Tony, Roro, Khen, and Papa Bong. :P By 6 pm, I left to…
