This year, I am doing something different. Setting intentions is nothing new or ground breaking. But for me, it is. This is the first time I am actually setting my intentions. I know that I will be more likely to actively work on it and follow through if I publish it. So here it is. I am sharing with you my 2020 Intentions. And I hope you will share yours, too. I consider my 2019 just my research and preparation for 2020. And it went pretty good and I learned quite a lot. It is my first time to start a year with clear intentions and I think it will make a big difference. My 2020 Intentions Here is a summary of my 2020 Intentions: Be HEALTHYOffer VALUE.Be SINCERE.ADVOCATE. Read on to know what these intentions mean to me and how I plan to put these to action. Why Set Intentions? First off, I want to share why I am doing things differently this year. Every year, I get consumed with goals. My mentees and basically everyone who has worked with me know how obsessed I am with establishing SMART goals. Last year, I set out to accomplish goals instead…

Great Day
Just had a great day! By any other standards, it was a normal hectic day. And that's what made it so great. I was hospitalized for a week, and it almost a week since I was discharged but not allowed to go out. And while I didn't go out today, it is the first time in a long time that I felt normal. The day started out with breakfast of pancakes. Yummy! And some meds. Meh! Then, I dove right into work. I accomplished tasks for WordCamp Ph 2010, Avatar Media, and Davao Bloggers. I also made scripts and coordinated for Davao Poker TV. Plus, I published and publicized some blog posts and started working on article submissions. I started most of these before lunch. WHOA! My relatives were here for lunch. We ate sinigang, kaldereta, and balbacua. Plus fruits, ice cream, and chocolates for dessert. Extra yummy and fun. With my nephews playing and running amok in the background, I went right back to my chores, tasks, and articles. I had to wear a face mask because there were too many people around. It was quite hard to breathe but I was able to work efficiently, nonetheless. Plus, I…
Starting the New Year
I began the new year with this status message on my Facebook: Happy New Year! May 2010 be kinder, more fruitful, and more productive for all those who deserve it. A toast to beauty, truth, happiness, peace, and love! May we all get what we deserve. ♥ But here's how I really spent the last days of 2009 and first days of 2010... I was frantically busy in the kitchen cooking and baking stuff for my family and friends, most challenging of which was preparing the Noche Buena for the Abellas. Main dish was steak, served with a cheese platter, sashimi, mashed potatoes, gravy, and blue cheese sauce. I also prepared my famous beef stew and tiramisu for the Joses. And the pastry kitchen? I spent hell in it for four days... brownies, cheesecakes, chocolate cakes, OH MY! I also spent a lot of time with my classmates. Both my high school and grade school batchmates had 10 year shindig things. I was able to attend my grade school batchmates' party. I was able to re-connect with a lot of old friends. Had a fun time reminiscing. But I missed our HS batch's grand thing at Eden. I was too…
Hectic Schedule is Hectic
Yes indeed. I haven't been blogging much because work, work, and boylets poker have made my life hectic and busy. First off, WordCamp is FAST APPROACHING! GRAWRRR! As logistics girl, I am in charge of the venue, physical arrangement, materials and supplies, kits, badges, food, booths, and many other things that I do not want to think off right now. Then, there's one wedding this September, one on October, three on December, and two on January. Wish me luck! (Plus, my batchmates are pressuring me to organize the batch reunion yet again.) I was also kinda helping out my cousin with his event. And this weekend is Kadayawan weekend, and several digital photographers and blogger from other parts of the country are coming over. On top of that, I have tons of blogging backlog: AutoRevolution and Drifting experience, Davao Food Trips, Museo Dabawenyo feature, N95 reviews, and tons of other stuff. The only thing keeping me insane these days are DotA which I rarely get to play, movies, and poker nights. Poker nights have been fun and relaxing in many different ways. Secret muna bakit. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! So far, I haven't been losing money, and I have won a couple of…
Holy Week Boredom
While most people have been looking forward to the super long work-free vacation that is Holy Week, I have been dreading it. Traditionally, we go to our rest house during the Holy Week. But well, due to certain circumstances I'd rather not blog about anymore, I had a super boring Holy Week last year. And this year, well,... seems like it's going to be an even more boring time. My cousin Gwing is in USA leaving me and Kuya Andrew with just each other. OH NOES! Last year, Gwing and her siblings, with me and Kuya spent time together during Holy Week, whining about how boring it was, and trying to find establishments that were open. Now, it's just me and Kuya. Good thing I'm squatting at his house again so I get to work. BOOORING! I have already made three videos in the span of 24 hours, blogged, obsessed over my Google Analytics, downloaded some Internet Marketing resources, and a lot more which I already forget. And it's only Holy Thursday. Three more days!!! I plan on blogging some more, making more videos, bugging people to blog about Davao FAT, writing some speeches and articles, working on my Google…
