This is How I Love

Alternate Title: The Way I Play DotA and Poker is Also The Way I Love Subtitle: P*TANG INA! SATC and Grey's Anatomy Marathons are EEEVIL! I'm a pretty aggressive person who does and say things when and how I want to do and say it. I curse more than the average person, and I go out and do things that my relatives aren't proud of. In fact, they cringe at most of the things I do. One recent conversation with my relatives pointed to me as having inherited most, if not all, of the bad habits of my aunts and uncle: academic underachievement, drinking, gambling, and more. I'm a bad girl, I know. But when it comes to love, I am no bad girl and no aggressor. I love the way I play DotA. As a DotA player, I play support most of the time. I take care of my teammates and make sure they look and perform well. And by golly, I am the same way in most relationships. I'm a nurturer. I take care of people. (SHUDDAP!) I make sure they eat on time, do things the right way, and do the things they have to accomplish. I…

Meet HoboNeil

Weeks ago, a good friend of mine, asked me for help with blogging. He was suddenly in the mood to write and blog about stuff going on in his life. My friend, a confidante and adviser of mine, is Peter Neil Siarot, now know by his online handle, HoboNeil. He mostly blogs about his personal experiences and insights. What I find most interesting are his everyday recipes. His ampalaya recipe definitely caught my attention. He also features some places in Davao City that he has visited. His blog is very candid and heartfelt. ;) Help me welcome him into the crazy Philippine blogosphere by visiting his blog, HoboNeil.

This is our moment now, a chance to show and prove that there are more to our words and opinions, that we do not just write for the sake of writing, that we do not speak for the sake of speaking. The things we do are not done to seek attention or prove that we are better or smarter. Rather, we do it because we know we have to. What we are about to embark on might not amount to anything fruitful, but we hope it does. And despite the risks and complications, we will do what we have to do, because it has to be done. It might lead to nothing, but that is a risk we should take, because there is that chance that what is true, right, and just will prevail. That despite the complications and risks, our action will yield something good for the country. And if it doesn't, at least we tried, and tried really hard.…

My Ninang Ivi Does the Poyt Pose

We were all kinda bored last November 1, so I brought out my camera and started taking photos. Surprisingly, my Ninang Ivi, Gwing's mom, suddenly did the Poyt pose without our instruction. Lagi niya raw kasi kami nakikitang ginagawa yun. LOL! Gwing here was channeling Kringy. On a related note, you can join the Strike a Palawan Gang Pose Contest and get the chance to win a Free Red Box Party for Four. ;)
