This is How I Love

Alternate Title: The Way I Play DotA and Poker is Also The Way I Love Subtitle: P*TANG INA! SATC and Grey's Anatomy Marathons are EEEVIL! I'm a pretty aggressive person who does and say things when and how I want to do and say it. I curse more than the average person, and I go out and do things that my relatives aren't proud of. In fact, they cringe at most of the things I do. One recent conversation with my relatives pointed to me as having inherited most, if not all, of the bad habits of my aunts and uncle: academic underachievement, drinking, gambling, and more. I'm a bad girl, I know. But when it comes to love, I am no bad girl and no aggressor. I love the way I play DotA. As a DotA player, I play support most of the time. I take care of my teammates and make sure they look and perform well. And by golly, I am the same way in most relationships. I'm a nurturer. I take care of people. (SHUDDAP!) I make sure they eat on time, do things the right way, and do the things they have to accomplish. I…

Thank You Boys!

Just when I was starting to become jaded and pessimistic, the world, you guys, gave me a reason to smile. You made me cry, made me remember, made me realize that everything has not been in vain, that the hard work has not been futile. Thank you for making me believe again! Thank you for making me realize I still matter! Thank you for giving me a reason to move forward! THANK YOU!

Hectic Schedule is Hectic

Yes indeed. I haven't been blogging much because work, work, and boylets poker have made my life hectic and busy. First off, WordCamp is FAST APPROACHING! GRAWRRR! As logistics girl, I am in charge of the venue, physical arrangement, materials and supplies, kits, badges, food, booths, and many other things that I do not want to think off right now. Then, there's one wedding this September, one on October, three on December, and two on January. Wish me luck! (Plus, my batchmates are pressuring me to organize the batch reunion yet again.) I was also kinda helping out my cousin with his event. And this weekend is Kadayawan weekend, and several digital photographers and blogger from other parts of the country are coming over. On top of that, I have tons of blogging backlog: AutoRevolution and Drifting experience, Davao Food Trips, Museo Dabawenyo feature, N95 reviews, and tons of other stuff. The only thing keeping me insane these days are DotA which I rarely get to play, movies, and poker nights. Poker nights have been fun and relaxing in many different ways. Secret muna bakit. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! So far, I haven't been losing money, and I have won a couple of…

Manila Day 8: A Movie, A Lamb, and DOTA!

Day 8, a Friday, was a slow one for me... I woke up at lunchtime and hurried as I had a meeting scheduled at 2 pm. Had a veryyy hard time getting a cab. When I was already near the meeting place, some sort of miscommunication happened and I THOUGHT that the meeting was either canceled or postponed so I went to Trinoma instead. Trinoma is ginourmous! I decided to watch a movie ALONE! Whattaloser! So I bought some Oliver's Sandwich and Dalandan Juice and settled in to watch Forbidden Kingdom! HURRAH! Ang galing... yun lang... SOBRANG GALING! Then I met up with Kuya Andrew to eat dinner at Cibo in Glorietta. We shared the Spinach and Gorgonzola Cheese dip. I had the Braised Lamb with White Wine, Turnips and Carrots. It was heavenly. The meat was so tender and flavorful. Hay basta... try it! It was served with a very delicious cup of rice flavored with garlic and parsley (I think). Then, I went to the Mineski Grounds in Arena to meet up with another journalist. He was going to cover the Asian DotA Championship Philippine Qualifiers Finals between CORPOration (my team) and NINJA (my ex-boyfriend's team but my…
