10 for 2010

In solidarity with my colleagues at Avatar Media, here’s my list of ten things I want to accomplish in 2010:

  1. Wear a tankini. Which implies I must lose weight and stay fit and healthy. I hope to accomplish this by May 2, 2010, the date of a planned island tour.
  2. Buy a netbook. Save money. Budget efficiently.
  3. Do not create a new blog. I already have too many blogs on my own and I have several others that I am maintaining. I need to focus more in maintaining the ones I currently have.
  4. Read 5 books. Last year, I spent most of the year just re-reading books I have already read. Must read more.
  5. Attend dance classes. Last year, I made a goal of attending culinary classes and I would like to think that was a major success. This year, I want to re-kindle my love for dancing, learn new skills, and stay fit.
  6. Travel around Mindanao. Must visit at least 3 places. I want to travel but don’t have much budget. Plus, I think Mindanao is a really great place to explore.
  7. Organize at least 4 events. The Davao Bloggers and the Avatar Media Team both have a lot of great plans for these year. We hope to serve the community better.
  8. Keep my things organized.I am a pack rat / hoarder. I vow to always keep my things organized neatly. And I will throw away, give, or sell the stuff I don’t use anymore.
  9. Be ITM or top ten of at least 5 major poker tournaments with at least P1,000 buy-in. Must be a better poker player.
  10. Save money.

Last year, I wasn’t able to keep or live up to most of my resolutions or attain my goals. That was a sad, confused year for me. But I am looking forward to a much better, more productive 2010. 🙂

  1. Go, go, go!
Ndi pa tlga kaya ng powers ko ang magtankini, detz. Hanggang rash guard at mini boardshorts lang muna ako. Sige, mag dance2 ka habang akoy patuloy na mamumulot ng shuttlecocks. Hahahaha!
Goodluck to Avatar Media. Let’s keep the fire burning. 🙂
